Clément graduated from ESMA Montpellier in 2015 and began his career in Belgium at Nwave. He then moved to Paris to animate on DreamWorks' "Captain Underpants." In 2017, Clément joined Fortiche to work on the acclaimed series "Arcane," contributing as both an animator and storyboard artist in Season 1, and advancing to lead a team of animators and storyboard on several episodes in Season 2. Additionally, he has taught at Gobelins and worked on projects like Mac Miller's "Colors and Shapes" and League of Legends' "Rise" music video. With his extensive industry experience and passion for animation, Clément will guide you to push your skills to new heights and create stunning animations that captivate audiences. OVERVIEW
Clément Pierre
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Clement PIERRE is a french artist working at Fortiche.
He graduated at ESMA Montpellier in 2015 and dived in the film industry in Belgium at Nwave.
After a few months, he moved to Paris to animate on the very cartoony Dreamworks' Captain Underpants.
In 2017 had the opportunity to work from the very beginning of a gigantic project at Fortiche, where he was going to learn so much : Arcane.
In season 1 he worked there as an animator and storyboard artist. In season 2 he had the opportunity to lead a team of animation and also worked as storyboarder on a few episodes.
In the meantime, during production breaks he teached at Gobelins and worked on commercials and music videos such as Mac Miller Colors and Shapes and League of Legends Rise.
In 2023, after 6 years of Arcane, Clement took a break from animation to focus on drawing, making illustration and started making comics.
He's now back to Fortiche to work on brand new projects.
In his Animawarrior Courses, Clement wants to share the passion of animation.
Fed by the different aspects of the film industry, such as graphical composition, efficient storytelling, and convincing acting, he always thought animation was more about feelings and emotions than just motion.
